EIDEX has a product range of over 300,000 standard products. We can also conceive, design and produce every conceivable custom product for you. Standard products are not always sufficient for expressing more individuality, supporting special events and marketing campaigns and differentiating your company even more clearly from the competition. We would like to present a few examples that we are particularly proud of.

EIDEX special production: Bavarian porcelain lion

EIDEX commissioned the Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory to produce 2,000 handmade Bavarian lions as a high-quality and sustainable welcome gift.

The occasion was an incentive trip to Munich for 2,000 top sales employees of a large US insurance company. As the heraldic animal, the lion symbolizes Bavarian identity and tradition. The Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory, founded in 1747 by the Bavarian royal family and housed in historic premises near Nymphenburg Palace, is unique in the world and renowned for its finest porcelain work. All work steps are carried out exclusively by hand and the traditional techniques used are always passed down from generation to generation.

Over a period of more than 20 weeks, the individual parts of the 2,000 lions were cast, lovingly assembled, finished, fired several times and hand-painted. At the end, the lions were branded with our customer’s logo and given sturdy, high-quality gift packaging together with a booklet. EIDEX logistics made it possible for all guests traveling from the USA to have the gifts delivered to their hotel rooms. In addition, a short film was simultaneously available on demand for all those involved, illustrating the elaborate production process and underlining the high value of the gift – you can watch it here on YouTube.

Customer: Knaus Tabbert

Play dough fun for young and old! Vegan play dough in a practical gift set for all KNAUS fans.

The set contains 200g of KNETÄ® in a resealable tin and a silicone mold with four different modelling motifs.

 

Water Save Challenge

Customer: IDEALO

We were looking for a particularly sustainable and useful product for the new idealo gift online store developed and managed by EIDEX in 2022.

Our partner company FARE developed the solution with the unique waterSAVE® cover material, which reduces the consumption of valuable raw materials and energy in production and drastically reduces the impact of harmful substances on the environment.

After FARE introduced us to the #waterSAVEchallenge, we were able to communicate the project to idealo in a very open exchange and develop the premium umbrella as a complete custom production. Around six liters of water are saved during the production of each umbrella. This amount of water saved is converted into a monetary value and then donated to the non-profit organization “Viva con Agua”, which helps to give more people access to clean drinking water. As a birthday present for the employees at idealo, the umbrellas will be made available for free in the online store alongside other products.

Customer: ENI

Eni is one of the global market leaders in the oil and gas industry and is working towards a future in which everyone can access energy resources efficiently and sustainably. Eni has been an EIDEX customer since 2010 – and a full-service customer since 2018. We have developed a shop-in-shop system for Eni Germany and Eni Austria, which a total of around 900 petrol station operators can access to choose from over 400 items. The range is customized for each country.

Eni Austria asked us to produce a special version of the Eni lubricating oil drum on a smaller scale, true to the original, as a high-quality USB loudspeaker box. The brand logo with the six-legged dog, which has existed almost unchanged since 1952, and the yellow and black color scheme were the key design elements alongside the cylindrical shape. The function buttons and connection sockets were to be integrated inconspicuously into the mini oil bottle and an attractively designed packaging box was to be created. Together with the manufacturer Nestler-Matho, the product was developed from the idea to final product maturity in close coordination rounds and feedback discussions with EIDEX. The box is now available to order as an eye-catching gift in the Eni online store in Austria in an edition of 2,500.

The personalized ScanWatch

Custoimer: ERGO

ERGO is one of the largest insurance groups in Europe and is among the top 5 in the life, property and health segments in its home market of Germany. Fit, digital and successful – these are the buzzwords that set ERGO apart from its competitors and gave us an idea for a special gift in recognition of outstanding performance over five years during the ERGO strategy program.

Employees were able to choose from four versions of a sophisticated WITHINGS ScanWatch, which can continuously “digitally” scan their vital parameters – and thus not only helps them to stay “fit”, but also actively and “successfully” keeps an eye on their heart health – in an online store programmed by EIDEX and place their free order.

EIDEX then packaged around 20,000 individual gift sets on behalf of ERGO and sent them to private addresses throughout Germany. Each set contained the ERGO-branded ScanWatch in a specially designed gift box, including an information brochure and a digital video card with a personal greeting from the ERGO Board of Management. With the support of the ScanWatch, each of the recipients can see and measure how fit, digital and successful they are on a daily basis.

Staying flexible

Customer: HD+

With HD+, TV fans can watch 26 of the largest private channels in HD quality in addition to the free-to-air HD channels. EIDEX has been producing eye-catching advertising material for the subscription program provider for over ten years. Often involved: the gifted actor and entertainer Friedrich Liechtenstein, who characterizes the appearance of HD+ as a casual testimonial. Together with Friedrich Liechtenstein, HD+ developed a dealer training course on a new product. Exclusively for this event, we produced the Wackel-Liechtenstein in an edition of 3,000 pieces – a detailed, hand-painted Liechtenstein likeness, which the dealers received after the training. On the one hand, a perfect memento of the event – on the other, the cool figure can also be placed prominently on the sales counter.

Implemented quickly

Customer: Airbus

As the largest aerospace company in Europe with 130,000 employees, Airbus is also at the forefront of the aviation industry worldwide. Aircraft designers are not only enthusiastic about technology, they are also said to have a certain affinity for model making. This fact gave the EIDEX customer the idea of including a model of the Eurodrone developed by the Group made of bricks in its product range as an advertising medium. It only took a few days to develop the model based on the photos provided by the customer; the first draft was approved for production. The models are coveted giveaways at major aviation trade fairs such as the ILA – not only for customers and interested parties, but also for private visitors of all ages.
