25 years of EIDEX: An anniversary full of memories and community
EIDEX celebrated its 25th anniversary with a lavish party on the first weekend in August. From humble beginnings, when the company was launched in 1999 in the living room of Thomas Gottschall and Patrick Haendly on a pool table and with an old laptop, EIDEX has developed into a recognized player in the promotional products industry.
The company name was deliberately chosen to be short, memorable and modern, visually appealing with a small animal to emphasize the family character and human closeness that have always characterized EIDEX. It was a wonderful summer evening on which around 250 employees, customers, suppliers, service providers, friends and former EIDEXes accepted the invitation to celebrate together. The band TIMERUNNER created a great mood and heated up the atmosphere. They played rock classics that invited everyone to party and dance. A special highlight of the evening was when Thomas Gottschall spontaneously took to the stage and played air guitar during a song.
The guests enjoyed culinary delights, including local beers and various barbecue specialties. As usual with EIDEX, there was a family atmosphere. In a short but moving speech, Managing Director Thomas Gottschall reflected on the past 25 years and presented an emotional gift to his co-founder Patrick Haendly: the first EIDEX company sign to hang in Sendlinger Straße. The reunion with the former Managing Director after several years was a very touching moment for everyone.
